Works for places of worship

Classical and modern religious stained glass windows for churches and cathedrals

The creation of sacred stained glass windows represents one of the fields in which Grassi Artistic Stained Glass of Milan best expresses its craftsmanship. From the Milan Cathedral to the Como Cathedral, the company has left its mark on some of the most important places of worship in Italy. But the work of Milanese master craftsmen has crossed national borders for decades: their religious stained glass windows are found in cathedrals and churches in Japan, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, Ghana, Brazil, Venezuela and Portugal, testifying to a reputation built work after work on five continents. Each sacred window is designed in full respect of the architectural style of the building and the iconographic tradition of the place, with both classic and contemporary solutions. The production process follows the ancient technique of French glass masters: hand cutting, lead binding, tin soldering and, where necessary, vitrifiable grisaille paint fired at great heat for an unlimited duration over time.
